Curse of Chucky is an American horror film of the slasher and killer doll genres. It is the sixth installment in the Child's Play film series and the first movie in the series to be released direct-to-video. It follows the 2004 movie Seed of Chucky. The movie was written and directed by franchise creator Don Mancini and premiered on Video-on-Demand on September 24th, 2013. Unlike the two previous films, Curse of Chucky returns to the franchise towards its more serious horror roots, though still contains some elements of dark comedy. The film stars Summer H. Howell as Alice, Chantal Quesnelle as Sarah, Fiona Dourif as Nica, Danielle Bisutti as Barb, A Martinez as Father Frank, Maitland McConnell as Jill and Brennan Elliott as Ian. Voice actor brad dourif reprises the role of charles lee ray, for the sixth time.
