Scream 3[]

Cotton has taken advantage of his newfound popularity (likely following the interview he was promised) and now hosts a talk show called 100% Cotton. While driving home one night in the middle of traffic, he receives a call from a female viewer who proclaims to be a fan of the show and they chat for a little with Cotton seeming to flirt with her until the caller is revealed to be Ghostface and is at home watching Cotton's girlfriend, Christine Hamilton, shower. Cotton races home to save Christine meanwhile she is attacked by Ghostface who uses his voice changer to imitate Cotton's voice and makes her believe that Cotton has gone crazy and is trying to kill her. When Cotton arrives at home, he is attacked by Christine and despite his claims of innocence, she refuses to believe him and hits him before being killed by Ghostface. Despite putting up a fight, Cotton is ultimately overpowered and killed while Ghostface tells Cotton all he needed to do to survive was tell him where Sidney Prescott was.
