The basement at Collinwood is a fictional setting used in the daytime Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows, which aired on ABC from 1966-1971. It is one of the forty-rooms found at the Great House of Collinwood and was an often-used setting for various storylines featured throughout the series. One of the more promiment storylines that made use of the basement was the "Jason McGuire's Blackmail Scheme" story-arc, which ran during the 1967 season.
