Child's Play 3 is an American-British horror film of the slasher subgenre. It is the third installment in the Child's Play film series and was directed by Jack Bender and written by franchise developer Don Mancini. The movie was produced by Universal Pictures and released theatrically in the United States on August 30th, 1991. The movie stars justin whalin as the protagonist Andy Barclay, Andrew Robinson as Major Botnick and billy boyd reprising the role of killer Good Guy doll chucky.
