Sydney Maas
Sydney Maas was a graduate student who joined a team of anthropology students on a trek to Thailand to aid Profesor Conrad Hamilton in his search for an elusive and rare breed of giant ape. The group set up camp in the jungle, but before long they were hunted down by these so-called "Blood Monkeys". One of the apes abducted Sydney while she was attempting to use the latrine and dragged her deeper into the jungle where it ripped her face off, ultimately killing her.
