Biography[]

J. Will Eigerman was the epitome of toxic masculinity. He was the embodiment of the stereotype of the far right-wing conservative fringe and he demonstrated these characteristics with every step taken and every word spoken. By the late 1980s, he was a middle-aged white man with thinning hair, a mustache, a silver cap in one of his teeth and a barking engine of eternal frustration and anger.

J. Will Eigerman lived in the rural community of Shere Neck in the province of Alberta in Canada. He worked for the Shere Neck Police Department and held the rank of captain.

A psychiatrist named Philip K. Decker came to Eigerman and warned him about one of his patients, a man named Aaron Boone, whom Decker claimed was a serial killer. Working with Decker as well as a detective named Joyce, Eigerman learned about the existence of Midian, which was a subterranean city inhabited by a race of "freaks" known as the Night Breed. Decker goaded Eigerman into mounting an armed offensive against the creature living below the cemetery that existed just outside of Shere Neck. [1]

Captain Eigerman rallied together his own officers, outfitting them with a heavy supply of weaponry, as well as a far-right fringe group known as the Sons of the Free. He brought with him a local preacher named Reverend Ashberry. The Shere Neck Police Department and the Sons of the Free openly attacked the Night Breed of Midian, setting off grenades and land mines the destroyed the cemetery, causing most of it to collapse into the warrens below. When Ashberry saw that Captain Eigerman was targeting children, he turned against him, and seemingly killed him. [2]

However, Captain Eigerman survived the destruction of Midian. He actually reconnected with Reverend Ashberry for a second attempt at genocide, and proved to be even more sociopathic than had been previously believed. He murdered another police officer for his vehicle. He then shot a diner patron in the mouth for attempting to go to the press with his knowledge about the Night Breed. He then murdered an emergency services worker for vaguely disagreeing with his supremacist rhetoric. [3]TV Tropes.org; YMMV/Clive Barker's Night Breed. Complete Monster; Epic Comics.</ref>
