Aubrey Schenck was an American film producer born in Brooklyn, New York on August 26th, 1908. His first work in the horror genre was the 1956 horror/sci-fi film The Black Sleep. In 1957, he served as executive producer on Voodoo Island. That same year, he produced Pharaoh's Curse and followed this up with Frankenstein - 1970 in 1958. His next genre work wasn't until the 1970s when he produced Daughters of Satan in 1972 and Superbeast that same year. Aubrey passed away in Los Angeles, California on April 14th, 1999 at the age of 90.
