Arnold Drake was an American film screenwriter and comic book writer. He was born in New York City, New York on March 1st, 1924. In film, he produced and wrote the 1964 movie The Flesh Eaters. Arnold Drake was co-creator of the DC Comics superhero team The Doom Patrol - a pre-cursor to the more popularly known Marvel Comics super-group, The X-Men. Also for DC, he created the Stanley and His Monster comic strip as well as the ghostly super-hero Deadman. Drake passed away on March 12th, 2007 at the age of 83.
