Angel is am American television series that aired on the WB Network from October of 1999 to May of 2004 spanning a total of 111 eleven episodes over the course of five seasons (22 episodes per season). Angel was a spin-off of the popular television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and featured the adventures of the titular anti-hero Angelus - a vampire in search of redemption for the sins of his past.

Season three of Angel aired from September 24th, 2001 to May 20th, 2002, totalling twenty-two episodes. The cast lineup includes original stars David Boreanaz as Angel, Charisma Carpenter as Cordelia Chase and Alexis Denisof as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Season two's J. August Richards returns as a series regular again, reprising the role of Charles Gunn. Actress Amy Acker joins the cast of Angel as a series regular beginning with this season. She plays the role of nerdy tech girl Winifred "Fred" Burkle.

  • This is the last season of Angel with David Greenwalt as executive producer. He is still given screen credit in seasons four and 5 even though he was not involved in the show any longer. Greenwalt did return to the series to direct one episode in season five, "The Girl in Question".
  • David Greenwalt wrote and directed both the season premiere, and the season finale.
