Amityville 1992: It's About Time is an American horror film of the haunted house subgenre. It is the sixth installment in the Amityville Horror film series and was released direct-to-video on July 16th, 1992. The movie was directed by Tony Randel and produced by Steve White of Steve White Productions and VPS Studios. The film stars Stephen Macht, Shawn Weatherly, Megan Ward, Damon Martin and Jonathan Penner and is loosely based on concepts developed by Jay Anson and the Lutz family in the 1977 novel The Amityville Horror. The plot of the film focuses on Jake Sterling, a California resident who purchases a wall clock that was once housed inside the infamous Long Island haunted house at 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville. Shortly thereafter, strange things begin occurring as Jake is beset with one traumatic ordeal after another.

- The tagline for this film is, "The terror returns with a vengeance.".
- In it's original release, the movie was officially titled "Amityville 1992: It's about time". When it was released on DVD almost 10 years later, it had a new box and the "1992" was dropped from the title. During the opening titles you can see a black box over the spot where "1992" should appear in the title. [1]
